As a luggage specialist, Saddlemen knows what works. Saddlemen bags incorporate handy innovations such as lockable buckles (with the locks included), waterproof zippers, and new for 2004 there’s a quick-disconnect system for universal and rigid-mount saddlebags. Also new this year is a full line of Elite bags as part of the Saddlemen Express line, and there are large capacity sissy-bar bags with wheels now, too, coming at a really friendly price. Raising the bar even higher, Saddlemen has re-engineered the rigid-mount saddlebags to include those quick-disconnect clips, and they’ve added handles for portability.
Don’t worry about applications, either; Saddlemen’s got it covered, including the new-model bikes. Saddlemen’s got a full line of saddlebag guards guaranteed to be compatible with their bags, too, and the bag designs are optimized to work with those guards. This year there’s a quick-detach kit that installs on those guards, too, eliminating the need for a conventional mounting yoke. There are even turn signal relocators available to simplify the installation of larger bags where the turn signals might have gotten in the way.
Best
of all, it all looks right. Saddlemen’s styling, whether it’s
contemporary or nostalgic, has the bags looking like they were designed
as part of the bike. Like they were meant to be there all along. Plus,
with Saddlemen you get the added benefit of a full line of saddles and
tank chaps to match the styling, trim and features of the bags. Want
an integrated appearance? Here it is. |
