The 440 I.A.S. is Progressive’s top-of-the-line shock.

he 2004 Harley-Davidsons are on the showroom floor, and Progressive Suspension has already completed rear shock update applications for the entire 2004 Harley-Davidson line, including the new Sportster.
Progressive Suspension’s 412 Series shocks combine a great price with great performance. They feature precision double-walled steel bodies to protect the inner cylinder and provide consistent damping, a precision-ground, hard-chromed steel shaft for strength and durability and multi-stage, velocity-sensitive internal valving. They come in lengths ranging from 11 inches to 14.25 inches, and also come in Black or equipped with heavy duty springs.
The gas-charged 418 Series shock offers five rebound damping and four spring preload settings, and has velocity-sensitive, multi-stage internal valving for a consistent ride and good handling over a variety of surfaces. The body is made from aluminum with a steel inner wall and a hard-chromed 4130 chrome-moly shaft. The 418 Series is completely rebuildable, too. Springs are available in Chrome or Black and also heavy duty.
At the top of the Progressive Suspension line is the 440 I.A.S., with inertia-sensitive and velocity-sensitive damping, polished and anodized billet aluminum end covers, easily adjustable spring pre-load (no tools required), progressive-rate springs (in Chrome or a Black powder coat finish) and a new limited lifetime warranty on the shock and spring. The I.A.S. Series shocks are a recommended replacement for the stock air shocks found on the Harley FLH series motorcycles.
And the new Airtail® Series for the Harley Softail models give riders the ability to raise and lower with the touch of a switch.
Progressive Suspension is out to give them the ride of their lives. Give your Drag rep a call today!
