We’re talking Snell- and DOT-approved helmets, and, depending on the model, helmets constructed with fiberglass composite shells, and including high-tech/high-protection dual-density styrene liners. More than that, those liners are made to the North American head-form. They’re sized and shaped for comfort, lessening or eliminating squeezing or pressure points around the forehead. This is something you don’t often find until you get into the “high dollar” range of helmets, and it’s here beginning at $59.95.
The Duke is Z1R’s premium full-face offering. A fiberglass composite helmet, it has that dual-density liner and all sorts of other features, too, like an extra-large eye port, state-of-the-art ventilation, and quick-change faceshields. It sells for just $144.95, with more than a dozen graphic designs and colors available. The just-introduced Stance is unbelievably popular, too. Another full-face helmet, this one’s also available in an assortment of graphics and colors, and the flat black model is way cool. Set up with a silver iridium face shield, the helmet is tough to keep on the shelf. It costs just $109.95. Add any of the graphics and the Stance price is $124.95. And for real value the Z1R Strike completes the full-face street lineup, retailing for just $89.95. Moving into the one-half and three-quarter helmets, Z1R’s got it there, too. The Drifter and Jimmy both come with that comfortable North American head-form liner, and you can’t beat the prices. The Jimmy retails for $64.95, the Drifter is just $59.95. There’s a nice selection of colors, too, including that super-popular flat black.
On the off-road side there’s
plenty of Z1R, as well. There’s the new Rail helmet, which, by
the way, makes one heck of a snow helmet—just add the Rail breath
guard and throw on a pair of snow goggles and you’re ready to
hit the snow trails. This one’s pure moto with a longer chin bar,
making it a real hit with the younger guys on bikes and sleds. It’s
feature-packed, too, coming with that Snell-approved dual-density liner,
flow-through ventilation, and a removable, washable liner. The visor’s
even specially designed to reduce high-speed head lift. The Roost is
one heck of an off-road value, too. A DOT-approved helmet, it has everything
riders want. It’s also available in junior sizes. Accessories?
Z1R’s got it all, including stuff for the snow guys, like breath
guards, anti-fog lenses, and electrically heated faceshields. All at
prices you can’t beat. With all of this—at
these prices—there’s no reason Z1R shouldn’t be the
helmet of choice. There’s a trick-looking display rack to show
them all off, so check with your rep. And check out the catalog. The
prices, and these helmets, are right. |
