hen you think drag pipes you immediately click on Samson, right? Those Big Guns 2 are just about synonymous with the style, and have been for years.
The Cannons, Long Cannons, Shortys, Ground Pounders, Ripsaws, Slashers, Short Slashers and Street Sweepers define the look.

Extreme series exhausts area available in 14 different looks, styles, bends and tip treatments. Shown here are the Grim Reaper Daggers for Softails.

But don’t stop there. Samson’s about more than just drag pipes. Looking for high-performance exhausts? Samson’s got it, with the new Caliber. How about ultra-custom pipes? Samson’s Extreme series has that covered. Need custom exhausts for the big metric cruisers? Look to Samson there, too. The Shogun Warlords have all the cool any Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or Suzuki can handle. So definitely, think Samson when you think drag pipes, but don’t limit yourself—or your customers—to just that.

Samson’s new Calibers feature the first fourstep header in the business.

Let’s talk performance pipes. Brand-new for 2004, the Samson Caliber is the first four-step header in the business, and these pipes mean business. They’re available for all the Harley-Davidsons—Softails, Dynas, and Sportsters—even the Road Kings, and they can bump up the horsepower by as much as 25 percent. They look good and sound good, too, just what you’d expect from Samson. The Caliber pipes for the Dressers are trueduals, eliminating the factory Y-pipe. That true-dual Caliber even gets an added boost from Samson’s Varitech baffle in its mufflers, literally pulling the exhaust out of the engine. The Caliber is all about performance.

Samson’s Shoguns are made for the red-hot metric cruiser market. Shown here are the Warlords for a Kawasaki 1600 Mean Streak.

Then there’s Samson’s Extreme Series pipes, custom exhausts that put the "Master Builder" look right on your shelf, available and affordable to everyone. Styled just like
those one-off show pipes everyone drools over, the Extremes deliver a high-dollar bang for hardly any bucks. They look exactly like magazine-bike pipes that cost thousands, but the Extremes retail at just over $300, complete. They’ll bolt up to every Softail from ’86 clear up to the newest models and all the aftermarket-frame bikes, and the Extremes come with features even pro-shop pipes don’t offer. Full-coverage 220-degree heatshields are included, and there’s a choice of 14 different looks, styles, bends and tip treatments.
From the Bone Shakers to the Zoomies and Ghetto Blasters, from the Grim Reapers to the Sinners, Hell Bounds and Hell Raisers, these Samsons are all ultracustom, and they’re affordable.

Metric cruisers are red hot, and there’s a whole lineup of Samsons for them. Sold under the Shogun label, the Warlords have every bit of the style, quality and craftsmanship, and the look, fit and sound that’s made Samson’s Big Guns 2 a Harley favorite. It’s all here. The Warlords have the same 1 3/4-inch head pipes, they have the same good looking/tight-fitting 2 1/4-inch full-coverage heatshields. And coming from Samson the sound is unmistakable. For riders looking for slip-ons, Samson’s got the Silver Bullet Series Mega Mufflers, and of course the original Rolled Thunder mufflers. It’s all available for the metrics.

And speaking about available, that’s the great thing about Samson, too. All of these pipes are in the Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties warehouse, and they’re ready to ship. Drag pipes? Sure, that’s Samson. But it’s only the beginning. Check with your rep for all the catalogs.
