rogressive Suspension introduced its Control Valve Technology CV/t™ (CV/t™) in the mountain bike industry two years ago and in 2003 completely dominated the national downhill mountain bike racing scene. Now that same technology is available for your customers. Here’s how it works:
Until now, all shocks have relied on velocity-sensitive damping to control damping forces in suspension. Progressive’s new CV/t™ damping technology for sport and competition ATVs is based on a proven, patented technology that utilizes a Control Valve (CV/t™) to give riders the addition of position-sensitive damping.

Progressive Suspension’s CV/t™ damping technology for sport and competition ATVs will make its debut at the Indy show. Be sure to stop by their booth and check it out!

Shock features include position-sensitive compression damping for Platform Damping® Control, speed-sensitive fine-tuning compression adjustments and rebound adjustment.

Platform Damping® Control is especially useful in ATV handling because it “tunes” out roll of the front suspension, yet allows the suspension to respond to bumps. Compression damping can be easily adjusted using air pressure. In addition, the Progressive design allows true position-sensitive damping throughout the stroke. The design of CV/t™ allows for tunable compression ramping as well as endless bottom-out control.

It’s new and it’s awesome. Be sure to stop by the Progressive Suspension booth at the Indy show for more information. If you won’t be at Indy give your Parts rep a call.
