“If you were wondering who is the best all-around motorcycle racer in the world, one candidate must be Stefan Everts, MotocrossGP champion, MXdN champion, and now ISDE champion.”
— Cycle News, November 19, 2003

ardly idle words there. In 2003, Stefan Everts became the all-time winningest racer in GP history. He became the first motocross racer ever to win all three race classes in a single day, he won the MXGP Championship, and then he went on and won the Motocross de Nations (MxdN) Championship. And if all that wasn’t enough, in his first-ever attempt Stefan Everts won the 2003 ISDE (International Six-Day Enduro) Championship. The best all-around racer in the world? Who’s better? Stefan Everts re-wrote the history books with a display of dirt-riding ability never before seen.

Pirelli has been championship racer Stefan Everts’ exclusive brand since 2001.

And he did it all on Pirelli tires. In fact, Pirelli’s been his exclusive brand since 2001. For that World MXGP Championship, depending on the conditions, Everts raced on his Pirelli MT83 front/MT32 rear or MT83 front/MT410 rear combinations. Chasing the MXdN title he switched to a Pirelli MT83 front/MT32 rear set-up. And for his first-ever foray into the ISDE, Everts won it all with a pairing of Pirelli’s MT83 front/MT83 rear.

Stefan Everts wasn’t alone having success on Pirellis, either. To take the 2003 250cc World Enduro Championship Stefan Merriman mounted up an MT83 front/MT83 rear Pirelli combination, (the same tires he used to finish second in the ISDE behind Everts—Pirelli’s first-ever One/Two ISDE finish). And John Dowd, for his third at Southwick, used Pirellis, too, the brand-new sand/mud MT410 front/MT410 rear match-up.

Pirellis have been Stefan Everts’ brand of choice since 2001 for good reason. And there are lots of good reasons for Pirellis to be your customers’ brand of choice, too.
