ach episode of “Inside Motorcycling presented by Parts Unlimited” features a project bike built by an expert from the category of each particular machine. Mention motocross and Pro Circuit comes to mind quickly, so our TV crew headed to Corona, California over the winter to see what they were working on in the back room of the Pro Circuit race shop.

As we all know now, Pro Circuit was hard at work on their new Kawasaki KX250Fs for their Supercross team, but the new Honda CRF250R was just hitting the shops, so we asked them what they could do with one of those?

Our project bike was built just a few days after the first CRF250R arrived at Pro Circuit and a power increase in the 10-15% range was found, but Service Manager Dave Chase stated for the TV camera that there was a lot more on the way. Based on the success of Pro Circuit’s Kawasaki four-stroke riders thus far in the 2004 Supercross series, we’d say we’re believers.

Race ready! Our TV bike looked pretty tricked out when it was done and we rolled it out in the Pro Circuit showroom for final photos.
