Brad Andres from San Diego, California stands with his Harley-Davidson
KR race-bike and some “hardware” he picked up along the
way in 1955, his rookie season on the AMA National circuit. Andres started
the year by winning the Daytona 200 (the first of three career Daytona
200 wins) and then went on to stun the sport by capturing the AMA Grand
National Championship ahead of many seasoned veterans. Brad’s
race bike was tuned by his father Leonard Andres, the owner of San Diego
Harley-Davidson at the time.
