Airtail shocks come ready to install with manual fill fittings.

ometimes it's okay to sacrifice comfort for style. That's what many riders do when they lower their Softails. But Progressive Suspension doesn't think you should give away a Softail's ride just to get that lowered look, and that's why they developed the new Airtail rear shock system.
The Airtail is unlike other lowering systems in that one of its shocks has a conventional steel spring and the other has a unique double air chamber. The double air chamber allows you to pump in the right amount of air to compensate for the rider's weight, or a passenger, or cargo. The second air chamber lets you adjust the ride height of the bike by adding air, thus lowering the bike. The Airtail advantage is even when the bike is fully lowered, the load-carrying air chamber has enough pressure to resist bottoming.
Airtail shocks come ready to install with a manual fill valve. An optional compressor kit is available, too, for easy adjustment at the touch of a button. Included are the on-board compressor, all the necessary electrical switches, connectors, all the air lines you'll need, and a replacement coil cover that houses the metering gauge and control switches. There are two Airtail kits, one for ’89-’99 Softails and the other for ’00-’02 models.
Don't give up a good ride in exchange for style. Get both with the new Airtail from Progressive Suspension.
