hey’re out there more than 40 times a year, coast to coast. Sturgis, Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Del Mar, at all the major runs, rallies, and Grand National dirt-track events across the country, the Memphis Shades customer-service caravans are out there taking care of business. You don’t have to look hard to find these guys, either. Those big trucks with their wild paint jobs and flying those Memphis Shades logos are hard to miss.

The Memphis Shades road crew traverses the countryside to help its customers.

Working in conjunction with local dealers, the Memphis Shades road crew is out there to answer customer service questions, show riders how to get the most out of their windshields, and even replace any mounting hardware a customer might have lost or broken. And it’s all gratis. Free. No charge, have a nice day, tell your friends. No rider goes away missing what he came for, either; at the events those trucks are loaded to the roof with every bit of hardware in the catalog, and it’s all there for the asking, installed and adjusted with a smile.
Don’t get the idea this road crew is competing for sales, though. Just the opposite. While the Memphis Shades team will install and adjust every windshield sold at those events, those windshields are sold through the local dealer network. How can you possibly do better than that, point to a factory rep who’s right there with all the answers, and holding wrenches in his hands, ready to roll? The Memphis Shades Harley-Davidson lineup covers it all, too, and comes in all the colors. Touring, cruising, sport—even replacement windscreens for factory fairings, there’s a Memphis Shades perfect for the job. Installation and adjustment by a factory rep is icing on the cake, but it’s not the end of the story. As long as that Memphis Shades windshield is mounted it’s going to be taken care of. The road crew will see to that, and that’s what you call customer service…
